What is unusual for the TfL Rainbow board, is the Overground specifically mentions drivers, rather than staff, it is also using the Special Service descrption
London Overground: Sarurday 28 August to Monday 30 August. Stratford - Richmond / Clapham Junction route: due to a shortage of drivers there may be short notice changes and cancellations this weekend. Please allow extra time for your journey and check before you travel.

London Overground: Minor delays Stratford to Richmond and Willesden Junction to Clapham Junction due to train cancellations. GOOD SERVICE on all other routes.

Not very helpful is the message on a website, check before you travel. If you were a potential customer where would you check latest, probably the TfL website. It may as well say we know you are reading this page because you are trying to check status. There is not even any links to train departures websites. Members of this forum may know about train running websites and how to navigate them, but a normal member of public would be stumped at how to find out which trains run and when.

Absoutely mad at Paddington today. Lots of GWR services have looked very full and everyone piling onto the Bakerloo which has been intermittently closing for crowd control due to Circle & H&C suspended.

Same at Victoria, with the Northbound Victoria line completely rammed, partly due to football crowds, as well as the lack of service on the Circle line.

Had to do the "Pimlico Shuffle" ( Ie. Go one stop in the wrong direction from Victoria to Pimlico) just to be able to get on a train, during my journey from Victoria to Euston.

Just like during the rush hour, pre COVID times, in fact.

Was going to say your experience brings back memories of an 8am peak at Victoria (pre Cardinal Place opening & extra staircase which made it slightly more bearable)!

Does anyone here know how long the early closures of Southwark Station due to lack of station staff will continue for? The station has been closing at 21:30 for the past week at least.

This weekend:
Saturday 11 Sunday 12 September, due to a lack of available Control Room staff, the Central Line will be running shuttle services and there will be longer intervals than usual

Services will operate between:
Hainault-Woodford
Ealing Broadway-Hainault
West Ruislip-North Acton
Leytonstone-Epping

Anyone know if problems this weekend at the eastern end of the SSR is related to the same issue please?

Supposedly today is every 10 mins Hammersmith - Barking interspersed with every 10 mins Hammersmith - Upminster. The latter seems to only exist in the timetable as trains seem to tip out at Whitechapel eastbound and go back to Upminster, at a far worse frequency than 6tph (18 minutes between train 702 and 703 and 16 minutes between 701 and 702 just gone past), and Hammersmith section also only 6tph as opposed to 12tph.
