"diesel or steam train" from Swanage or Eastleigh and back sunday the 20th june

there appears to be a train going from swanage to eastleigh and back on sunday the 20th says on rtt diesel/light loco but my friend seems to think its "something" top and tailed by steam locos

any idea what it might be and what its doing?

Thanks for this info, 31806 is also scheduled to haul a special from Weymouth to Southampton on the 5th and 19th August. It will have come from London hauled by another loco.
diesel hauled specials with cl47 on 31 July & 7 August to Weymouth

3rd of July was going to Weymouth.Now only as far as Bournemouth apparently. On Friday the 9th of July there is a Victoria -Weymouth via Yeovil. Steam to Yeovil,diesel to Weymouth then back up the southern with the steam to Victoria.

Lovely little loco. I had a run from Waterloo to Bristol and back to (I think) Victoria when it was last on the mainline in the 1990s.

Quite a rare outing for the 'U' on the main line. Leaving Portsmouth and Southsea for Brockenhurst. Quite a challenge for a class 4 loco on the equivalent of at least 13 coaches, as 'Mayflower' wasn't assisting at all.

To commemorate the 90th anniversary of the first run of the Bournemouth Belle, on Monday July 5 Tornado is scheduled to haul the train between London Victoria and Bournemouth. Both the July 3rd and this are showing on RTT

so theres tours on saturday, monday and there appears to be one not this but next friday from weymouth goes from victoria, Yeovil weymouth victoria

That is the end of Southern steam Friday July 9.it is scheduled to stop at Brockenhurst for about 20 minutes
