Do you have any model railway projects on the go?

A long day off work today soldering round my dad's layout - a whole load of points needed soldering up, latching relays wiring for the frogs, blades connected, etc. We're almost there (finally!) - only 4 more points to sort, and those are tucked well away in sidings - main and relief line/platfoms/shed entrance all finally under motor control...

My dad is very much a rule 1 modeller, and an avid collector (far too much stock for the available milage!).

Some pics below of parts of his layout - only turned up one further issue with the back to backs of one of the (five...) 9Fs which will sort later ...
