4 ADL Enviro200s have been bought from Ensignbus. 3 are at Anlaby Road now the 4th is still to arrive. The ex GNE Gemini 2s are being numbered 794-7, 797 is currently in the process of being repainted. 343/4 are becoming training buses.
Do you know which Enviro’s are they?

Thanks, looks Like Ensign are disposing their non Euro 6 compliant vehicles due to the expansion of the London ULEZ zone

No, as far as I know the Enviro300s are staying. I'm told they are to replace 4 Wright bodied Volvo B7RLEs
I was told that because the 300s aren’t the best wheelchair accessible that they was going for scrap, whether or not this is true I don’t know

There was a plan to repaint them into the new colours but it got put back when Covid struck

A 5th ADL Enviro200 due is LJ09 KPN (284). The others will be 285-8.

797 now complete in EastRider livery for the service 55 running from Elloughton depot.

394 is back at Anlaby Road, awaiting in the paint shop. The interior has completely changed so some will think it’s a brand new vehicle.

Ensignbus fleet movements has a Volvo B5TL (171-D-25062) being sold to East Yorkshire, now re-registered as KD17 TAU. It has Wright Gemini 3 bodywork and was last used by Dublin Mini Coaches.

Wondering what fleet number this will inherit, maybe 695 or 816 depending on what sort of B5 it is

I've PM'd you, not sure how much I can say publicly at the moment as there's not been an official announcement from EY about this vehicle yet.

394 is being painted in orange for the 350 service

Does anyone know what's going on with the Gemini 3 yet, or is it still under wraps?

This coming Wednesday (28th April), BBC1 is screening an episode of "Dom Digs In" - this is your standard TV presenter spends a bit of time discovering that there are harder jobs out there than reading to camera. On Wednesday at 11:00, Dominic Littlewood will be with East Yorkshire: "Can he hack it alongside the men and women who work tirelessly to keep our most popular form of public transport moving?".

Drawing it to your attention, as the bus seldom gets much positive exposure in the media.

I'll be watching on catch up, the last time we had a film crew with us we weren't impressed with the results so we shall see what this is like

Was that the "On the Yorkshire Buses" series (I think that's what it was called) that was broadcast on Channel 5?

That's the one, what annoyed us was a) the way it was edited and b) the fact the outer depots barely got a mention, it was all about Hull and Scarborough seafront with the exception of a certain driver getting lost on the 143

I believe it was having vinyls fitted this weekend so can't be far off. Now reregistered A1 EYD.

96 arrived the other day. Currently in body shop is 284. 287 out of paint shop, 288 in paint shop now. Also back is 797 from its refurbishment, 796 has departed for refurbishment at Pickering
