Minor niggles on thw ECML folowing yesterdays broken rail at Skelton Bridge.
This time the A61 road over rail bridge at Thirsk station. NR received an emergency call from NY Police who were chasing a criminal on the A61. In a scene not out of place on Imterceptors or Road Wars the fleeing criminal crashed into the bridge (ECM5/47) and decamped onto the ECML at Thirsk Station. Trains were cautioned while the line was examined for any debry odf the bridge and to be aware that the felon was somewhere on or near the line. 1F72 delayed 17mins is now losing further time due to loss of path on pennine hills.
Unrelated 1P55 is running late due to a fault with the train at MBR. Consequentially many of 1P55s pax are on board 1F72 which is effectively now in the path of 1F92!
