23208 and 33176 were liveried for Vamooz but have since been debranded. 65724/25 did receive amendments to their West of England Discover livery to bring it to Kernow standard, but this has now been removed.
32179, 33427 and 33592 are yet to arrive and will be painted for Atlantic Coaster.
Any corrections?
Two corrections i can see.
1) 32688 with the blue and green is going to be branded for air cadets.
2) trident 33176 which is pink with vamooz hasn't been debranded as it still wears it vinyl (spent the week at the Helston depot and saw it in the 251 the other day still wearing vamooz vinyls.)

Thank you, I have now corrected it :)

Does anyone know if any recent repaints have happened?
Also a question to anyone that know why were 23317 and 23325 sold or removed as kernow have now sourced even older coaches for school work?

Marc commented to a question on Twitter there is currently 3 vehicles out of winkleigh. I’m unsure of the other work from there at present

Just relax about the repaints. We’ve just heard about 32546 and we do get regular updates!

As for the two coaches, they were ex NX and had a hard life so age isn’t always a direct reflection on condition. They may have just in worse nick!

When the remaining Enviro 400-MMCs return to Cornwall, I wonder whether they will provide for summer enhancements or replace older stock?

Since when was 23325 sold or removed?
It’s been the regular vehicle on Par to Duchy college for the last few weeks.
Just because you haven’t seen anything or it isn’t on the bus times list doesn’t mean it’s not still here.

I only thought it left as I was looking at the past posts about its removal and looking and researching it I haven't seen any sign of it wear abouts since it was stated as it was being removed.
It must be one of the coaches slipping under the radar.

Didn't it do rail replacement in Exeter regularly recently as I'm sure I saw it?

The MMCs are due back in April I believe so all the older stock currently hired in will go once they’re back.
Ye 30 ish e400mmc left to return and 12 buses on loan.
When the mmc return the 12 loans will likely go and I assume some of the older buses bought in will go aswell.
But looking at it there is now more buses bought back into service then mmc to return so maybe some will stay or more newer age buses may appear.

Yes 30 MMCs are still at Hinkley at present along with a number of Kernow drivers too. At least it’s keeping them in work at the moment. Yes we will have to wait and see if any of the older buses brought in will stay even when the MMCs do return.

Is it definite they will return in April or is the arrangement open ended depending on what happens with the pandemic/social distancing?

You’re missing the point.

At present there are not just 30 vehicles away (to provide for social distancing at SPS) but a very significant number of duplicates covering the Kernow and Somerset networks, University, schools, Truro Park and Ride etc. These will undoubtedly stay in place until Social distancing ends.

The base position is that Kernow would have had just 13 Tridents left - the painted Presidents and the East Lancs to have been able to cover all their commitments for Summer 2020.

On that basis when social distancing ends everything else that has been drafted in is likely to be disposed of.

The two additional requirements are likely to be PSVAR coaches and open tops.

The paint shop is doing a Gemini in about 4 days.
37181 is in service with the new interior, but not yet painted. Believe the aim is one interior a week.

Thank you to all of you who have given answers to what should happen when the MMCs return. With these due back next April, and all new stock delivered to Go Cornwall, I could visit the area after April next year.

Do you know how many Truroian branded coaches there are?
30 coaches on fleet at present, including the 2 autosan which have 6**** series bus fleet numbers rather than 2**** coach fleet number. A small number of coaches are still waiting for painting.

4.30 p.m. on a dank, dark, cold, windy main street in Penzance and almost the only vehicle is a FK opentopper on the A1 trundling down it, possibly with a couple of passengers huddling near the driver in the lower saloon (it was difficult to see in the gloom.) It got me to thinking, if I had needed to use the A1 this afternoon and that bus had turned up, while I would have been grateful the journey was running, it would be tempered by the thought that the bus company were having a laugh at my expense. Imo it's entirely inappropriate to use these buses in this (non-emergency) way, particularly on a Sunday when plenty of other vehicles should have been available for service. FK should rethink this policy, which cannot do their image any good to the vast majority who are not bus obsessives. There is good reason why opentoppers don't appear out of season in the U.K., bar a few tourist ones in London and even they can be in short supply or non-existent in inclement weather.

It’s a leisure service.
They could just not run it.
If you don’t feel it meets your needs you could ask Cornwall Council to spend even more of your Council Tax
