Happy New Year to everyone, looking forward to more fantastic information being provided by the members on here.

One final question before 2021 ends, how many closed top Plaxton President bodied Tridents remain within the First South West fleet now?

Happy New Year to everyone on the most enjoyable thread on the forum!

This coming year is likely to be momentous for the bus industry, and mostly not in a good way. However, I think things are potentially looking far more positive in Cornwall than elsewhere (notwithstanding the council's £0.5m budget cut for bus services) and we have the very exciting fares initiative to look forward to as well as, undoubtedly, more exciting marketing campaigns and service developments from First South West.

33233 has been in service today, most likely the last closed top President left as 33235 hasn't been in service since 21st December (all according to bus times so may be incorrect.)

Ahead of the new 2022 season, could we expect to see 32027 be rebranded into Lands End Coaster livery & 33600/601 receive AC vinyls?

Bit of an odd one, but when did YX58 HWH / 44509 transfer to Kernow? or is bus times throwing up an oddball?
A couple of months ago. Swapped with a Solo SR to BoS. School contract capacity requirements I believe.

I believe it was transferred for a school contract (which I assumed was a private school contract)

Is that school contract what could be considered a public one such as the 270, 273 etc or a closed door one per se?

Copper 33450 is on the T1 this morning. Didn't take long for it to stray!

It wasn't on it for long before it got took off, and was parked up at Camborne by late morning.

Later it appeared to be back on the U2 service.

It didn't get taken off, It broke down just before Camborne on the T1 or T2 yesterday. And it got replaced by a Gemini in Kernow Green. It was 32554 SF54 OSU.

Pity I didn't have a camera with me yesterday afternoon, 3 E500's in convoy heading away from Truro college in numerical order too! 38201 operating a 91 to Newquay, followed by 38202 on the 270 to Cornwall services and finally 32808 on the 273 to Fowey, was quite the sight

These 3 services are normally allocated a E500 so should be possible to get the suggested photo most evenings

I did see 32808 on Bus times yesterday, and I'll admit I did have to do a double take - an E500 to Fowey! Purely out of intrigue, Where in Fowey does the service terminate?

Hate to be pedantic but im sure you meant 38208. 32808 is long gone!

Coach Park I believe, no way that's getting down to the harbour!

College services have always used the coach park and Hanson drive

The U1X was also booked for E500 operation but only ever 1 operated it (As opposed to both U1X's) and that hasn't happened for a while
Perhaps when 38206 enters service it could always do that?

I do wonder whether after a while (for example in the case of the 273) the normal 2 conventional deckers turns into just 1 journey done by an E500.

Not sure if I've asked this before or not, so excuse me if I have done so.

Now that First fully own the SPS fleet at Bridgwater, are there any plans to renumber the fleet into First's 5 figure fleet numbers, and also will they come under First South West control for fleet list purposes or remain separate?

I guess @onthebuses is the best person to answer this question
