Provided you hold their Vorteilscard=Railcard. This is quite hefty at 99€/yr for normal adults, but just 29€ for junior<26 and senior>64 or 65 (gets raised slowly). Offer will last till april 2019.
You can just buy one any moment at staffed sales-points, you get a paper temporary one valid 1 month whereas the plastic card will be sent home (goes reliably). No foto needed, but ID is checked. Other as the german BahnCard, it will not renew automatically, you get of course mail when it is about to expire.
it gives 40/45% discount on normal fares, but on intercity lines advance fares may still be cheaper. Has also the RailPlus in it (15% discount on full fare INTernational in participating countries-again advance may be cheaper).
For seniors: in the past years OeBB had around november a special promotion where they sold day tickets for 19€ (not valid on any overnight train). The discount is also valid on most of the provincial traffic-unions (bus, tram etc.)
