Thanks all, no I’m Guide Bridge which is handy as it’s 20 minutes away from my house!
Wonder where the training will be...!

Brilliant mate!!I had a contract waiting for me at home too!!!!! Jeez... after 10 years of trying I have finally made it!
You were right mate, training wage has increased.I have no railway pay experience but from my working life a pay rise has normally gone across all pay scale points.
Here’s hoping it applies to railway pay too

Haha..yeah that's it pal. £20,019.By many many many thousands? Haha
My calculations make it about £20k for the 1st 11 weeks?
They told you 36 for when in training?24k after 11 weeks though, down from 36k stated at the interview... I'm guessing this is how they're deciding to get around getting grads to work overtime without paying them then
Nice one mate , your down for thamesport as well aren't you ? Fantastic knowing when we're likely to start , can't wait .
For anyone who wants it...
Yes mate thamesport . Hopefully now they've got a date booked in they'll finalise all the details and let us know soon.Yeah I am, you too?
Feels like things are finally moving now...
Just wondering where the training is going to take place.
We were told recently at the assesment day they had 3 venues for training, Norwich, Ipswich and Crewe.Unlikely to be Ipswich as we won't be finished by then. So I guess either Crewe or a third venue.

Does that mean you can hand in notice now?Yes mate thamesport . Hopefully now they've got a date booked in they'll finalise all the details and let us know soon.
To be honest Im not going to hand my notice in until I've signed a contract . But I'm quite lucky in that I only have to give 2 weeks notice .Does that mean you can hand in notice now?
This was from Oct when I have my DMIWhat date is this letter from?

My letter is asking for me to apply for CRB so depending on how long that takes I’m thinking I still have a way to go until I receive a contract and any details of where the training will be...
Yeah same here , but I took the risk and did it when they rang me about the medical . I did disclosure Scotland and it only took a couple of days . Hopefully we'll get a contract sooner rather than later , just for a bit of piece of mind .My letter is asking for me to apply for CRB so depending on how long that takes I’m thinking I still have a way to go until I receive a contract and any details of where the training will be...

Yeah Scottish is absolutely fine .Totally agree, okay so basic Scottish is acceptable then
Same price...Scottish is recommended and cheaper....
I paid £25 for mine and didn’t do Scottish, took forever to come back though.Wasn't when I looked at it. Ah well, it gets paid back anyway
