50026 isn't confimed for the tour. Tickets are usually emailed a few days before departure for BLS tours.

They have been updated in the last week or so - basically runs a little bit earlier from the stations north of Kettering than originally published as a result of the pathing process.

East Midlands Parkway P4 (PU 06.05) - Leicester P3 (PU 06.35) - Kettering P1 (PU 07.05) - Bedford P2 (PU 07.36)

50007 now confirmed as the other loco.
Presumably this is its move on Friday? https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:U54940/2021-07-30/detailed (1116 Kidderminster S.V.R. to Burton Ot Wetmore Sidings)

Then https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:U54699/2021-07-31/detailed on Saturday morning (0507 Burton Ot Wetmore Sidings to East Midlands Parkway)

And a return to Kidderminster next Sunday https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:U54941/2021-08-01/detailed (1400 Leicester L.I.P. to Kidderminster S.V.R.)

With 50008 making its first move on to Wembley at some point, apparently on this https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:H14449/2021-07-26/detailed (1448 Eastleigh Arlington (Zg) to Db Cargo Fan A And B Sdgs) as noted on their Facebook page.
Hanson & Hall Rail Services Solutions Ltd
50008 will be leaving Eastleigh on Monday 26/07, running in the path of 0M61, heading to Wembley. The first leg of the run north in readiness for the 31/07 charter.
Timings for the 66 from and to Toton suggest that the tour will be getting back to Leicester earlier than advertised. (Replacement buses on the Melton Mowbray route suggest that it won't be going via Corby.)

You’ve literally won the forum with that combination.

Any chance of a challenge later on today?

50008 continues its trip to Leicester hauling a pair of 20s and the H&H/RA barrier wagons on 1200 Willesden to Leicester LIP

I believe it's leaving in a later path now?

Edit: I got it the wrong way around the 1715 was the old path! Now leaving at midday.

On its way as 1200 6Z50 Willesden to Leicester LIP via Bletchley and Bedford

Seems to be a change to the original plan though, 20901 & 20118 leading 50008 and wagons

I understand 50007 & 50008 are to undergo multiple working tests.

I wonder when they last worked together?
On another forum this was mentioned and the general consensus was “the early 90’s” although to date no exact date.

Know 7 was withdrawn before 8 & 15 so that would give an indication.

either way looking forward to the tour on Saturday!

Erm, can I correct that - I was on the Fifty Terminator and that definitely used 7. I was also at a gala at the ELR in October 1992 when 8 & 15 first ran in preservation.

I did wonder if they’d been paired up for one of the railtours near the end of their service, but I seem to remember 50008 being a solid departmental loco towards the end of its service while 50007 was a regular West of England NSE machine.
Are you doing the tour then?

Think the question was more when was 7 & 8 last paired up to which I replied.

8 & 15 were solid paired in the last few months for tours in early 90’s.

Yeah I’m on the tour from Bedford and back travelling up Fri and staying in a weatherspoons hotel.

I remember the pairing of 8 & 15, and can't remember ever seeing 7 & 8 as a pair, though my spotting/haulage didn't start till after sectorisation removed the opportunity. My comment about dates was more about the linked question about when they were withdrawn, and the way that 7 kept going on special duties for 18 months after 8 was into preservation.

I am travelling on the GBRF tour with the 3 50's (and various other surprises). It will be interesting to see what the third 50 is

Initial reports do agree with that but with GBRF Charity tours and the 50 Fund expect the unexpected
