Initial reports do agree with that but with GBRF Charity tours and the 50 Fund expect the unexpected
I’d say 7, 49 and one other of the Class 50 alliance locks but which is registered to main line or close to being if not already ?

Anyone know which end first class is? Many thanks.

Edit: 50007 leading 49. First at the front.

Looked good and on time at Wandsworth Road heading into Kent with the blue/grey air-con set this morning.

Why do they do that?

Someone may possibly have paid for it to be renumbered as 034 was their (or someone involved with the locomotives who’s recently passed away’s) favourite locomotive.
It’s a bit strange that the loco isn’t in a livery that 50034 ever wore though.

What does "literally won the forum" mean? Is there a competition?
There are certain forum cliches, that could almost form the basis of a bingo game. 442’s and 50’s feature frequently. Getting both in the same post is a notable achievement ;) Although it would be better if the post involved 50’s hauling the 442’s on an often proposed line reopening...

Taken at Richborough just north of Sandwich. It’s so good to see something different in this part of the world!38D5819C-51D9-4FD1-851D-68F4B4BCE8FC.jpeg39448AA9-C5C3-463D-96C9-839C60EB2CC0.jpeg903DA1DB-0DE1-478C-BB51-46F25729AA51.jpeg

I like that sandwich shot above. I wanted a foot crossing or lineside shot but due to the lateness of the timings becoming available I couldn't really plan it well. Went with Hildenborough in the end.
