Is the Farington Depot still being used?

Now that the Blackpool electrification is complete are the DMU servicing sidings at Farington still being used? If not has anyone stated what the future of it is?

No they’ve not been used for several years and most of the equipment/facilities have been removed

It was only a temporary facility anyway whilst Preston to Blackpool were electrified. I have been past a number of times recently and there have been vehicles parked there.
