If it's a refurb, what internal work is being done? Or is it actually what we would call an overhaul.

Does anyone know if there are any 91s or DVTs currently in scrapyards that haven't been dismantled yet?
No 91s have gone for scrap yet.
Not aware of any Mk4 DVTs having gone recently. One went to Sims in Hull but that was a while back so it will almost certainly have been broken up by now.
That was 82217. I believe it and 82221 (written off) are the only two that have been cut up so far.

No only the one involved in the Great Heck accident and the one sent to Sims last summer have been scrapped.
Many Mk4s are gone, two DVTs (only one in the last 20 years though) and no 91s although one 91 is a demic at Doncaster Works, or was just prior to COVID.
I've seen a picture taken within the past few weeks of 91108 in the yard at Doncaster, beside the works, so it's still around.

That's incorrect. Three DVTs have gone for scrap:
82221 after Great Heck in 2001
82217 in July 2020
82203 in December 2020

Yes. There's two Sims yards in Hull I believe. Not sure which one they went to, but both have gone to Hull.

Seen a post on Facebook showing what looked like a Mk4 coach on a low loader heading for Hull Scrapyard. No ID though, if anyone can help ?
Seen another post on facebook today showing at least 3 ex-lner Mk4 coaches at Sims in Peterborough in the line up to go in the crusher. Can anyone confirm what coaches and dvt’s have now been chopped ?
