I've done a few searches on here for the old distance charts we had the Underground and light railways.

They used to be pinned in the forum.

A) Are they still on here?

B) Can they be pinned again please?

C) Or could we have a subforum for things like distance etc.

I've found them for you :)

Imperial

Metric

Although they are a bit out of date for Metrolink & West Midlands Metro.

Awesome thanks.
I tried ~Distance charts and mileages and all permutations of those too.

I'll bookmark these as well now.

I've got an old Excel spreadsheet which can be used for the LU lines (other than Battersea Power branch). When I can get back onto the laptop I can upload it if you like.

No idea who originally created it though.

There‘s a 2019 spreadsheet of inter-station distances and timings in a TfL response to an FOI request here:

But interestingly they state in the response they no longer use the “distance from Ongar” system…

So wondering how they identify points along the line nowadays...

Yes, but a question I will leave for others! :D It may have just been that someone on the admin side dealing with FOI wrongly assumed with Ongar closed and disconnected it could no longer be the datum…

London Underground distance sheet, something I downloaded in 2014 time. No idea who originally built it.

Doesn't have the Battersea extension on mind.
