Just trying to understand the Navigo products. The first thing that's confusing is that both the physical card and the products are both called Navigo.

Anyway please can someone check my understanding that the Navigo Liberté carries no advantage over a carnet of paper tickets as the price is still €1.49 per journey?

Navigation Liberté+ you use the card to pay as you go and you are charged in one lump sum at month end, by direct debit, I understand.

Navigo Easy you use the card to add individual tickets or carnets (for a discount). The card is €2. Benefit is that it saves paper and fiddling about with paper tickets. The paper tickets are due to be discontinued.
