Are there any plans for other regional events?
PS it’s Crewe Alexandra for fear of upsetting the fans there!

As there doesn’t seem to be any great rush to start proper auctions yet then these events could be a good day out. A chance to meet old friends and perhaps catch a bargain. Perhaps Quorn may restart or Filton.

Quorn restarted last September. The next Quorn swapmeet is on 6th March with further events on June 26th and September 4th

There is also a collectors' fair in Burton on 5th March

The next Thirsk Railwayana Auction is on 9th April and is expected to be a live auction according to the entry form PDF, although the railwayana page does not indicate this.

With just 5 weeks to go to the North West Rail and Transport Collectors Fair - June 25th

Here is a quick update - 24 Different Traders and Organisations are all booked in , a full dealer list is now showing at www.transportpasttimes.co.uk

A real mix to cover all aspects of Rail/Railways and Transport - New and second hand Books and Publications , Tickets, Photos, slides , Model Railway, Handbills, Badges, Signs, and other Hardware, displays by Bala Lake Railway and the Industrial Railway Society .

Why not make a day of it as just to be announced will be a special one off 25 years of Virgin Rail at the Crewe Heritage Centre , with a couple of guest locos and an exhibition of Virgin Nameplates .
Its hoped the heritage bus can ferry between both locations.
Plenty of free parking at the Collectors Fair ,which is just around the corner from the Station at Crewe Alexandra Football Club .

See the Event Flyer below for more details .

With the threatened National Rail Strike , we have been able to secure additional Free Car Parking for the Event .
120 Spaces right by the entrance to the Fair ( by the club shop and offices ) , and now an additional 250 spaces in the CAFC Private Car Park ( Please note this is beyond the pay and display area and will be signed on the day )
So if you have to change those travel plans and there are no trains , do not worry Free Parking a plenty for all on the day .

With just 12 Days to go now until The North West Rail & Transport Collectors Fair , I just wanted to help remind everyone that its at Crewe . So here is a few other things that took place at Crewe , and all these items along with many 1000s more will be on display and for sale on the day.
Plenty of Free Parking over 300 spaces now allocated for the event.

Just a quick big thank you to all who were able to attend , we know the National Rail Strike affected things for a good number of people so hopefully next year all will be well and even more collectors and enthusiasts will make it along.

We were able to make a Donation of £200 to the Railway Children Charity from door admissions

So thank you all again , see you next June at Crewe
