Me; Tidied the garden, done some painting, spring-cleaned the house, joined a couple of webcam-chat groups, sorted out my collection of cassette tapes (dear children, look it up on Wiki...) which most are in mono :( and seen people walking past with rucsaks so clearly they are spending their hour walking in the country.

Oh and only had two evening's boozing out of the six so far. I reckon I'm behaving!!

I've been working from home since last Tuesday, so it's two weeks for me.

Being slightly pedantic, we are not one week in yet until Tuesday. :)

I'm OK but I had been practising being in lockdown for about three weeks prior to last Tuesday because I was in the good position of being able to do so.

I'm going off that by Saturday evening all the pubs and entertainment venues SHOULD have been shut, but I agree the lockdown was more enforced mid-week.

I’ve done a lot of reading - something I don’t usually have a lot of time for. I suppose it helps that Peter Crouch’s autobiography is rather amusing. :)

Bored... And to make matters worse my shifts tomorrow night and Sunday night have been cancelled, as has the night shifts for Monday - Thursday. I was looking forward to getting back onto nights too. <(

Key worker , so was at work until Wednesday evening. Started sneezing literally at the end of my shift on Wednesday and am now self isolating and it happens to be my day's off and my spring leave. Tried some new recipes as I have been trying a company called hello fresh ( other good companies are available). My doctor recommended them. Other than that I haven't done anything , but will tidy the garden this week coming.

Like others, I started fully working from home two weeks ago, so I've been indoors for almost 95% of that time save a couple of walks & heading to the supermarket. Cabin fever is setting in now, I'll be chewing the paint off the walls any day now. So from tomorrow, weather permitting, I'm planning to do daily walks along the river as its generally very quiet there. But too much of this and the anxiety I've tempered for years now may start to get the better of me again.

Genuinely great to spend more time with the wife and family.

But doing full time job on the kitchen table at the same time is hard work, to put it mildly.

I'm genuinely grateful for the daily exercise opportunity - without that would be immesurably harder (helps the youngest settle for his afternoon nap amongst other things)

Two weeks working from home, out for a walk most days, saving plenty of £s not travelling down to London.

I think there'll be a lot of people realising quite how much what they spend on fares, fuel, lunches, coffee etc actually adds up to...

Absolutely fine. Perfectly happy being on my own. Working from home can be a pita but just relax and go with it. People just need to chill and not let the situation get you down. Develop a new mindset. Pretend you are in a submarine or a spaceship like my friend has with his 5 year old! They are doing astronaut training!

Only issue is I broke the strimmer half way through gardening so my garden looks odd

I am classed as a mobile worker so usually work from home and when I travel I put it on expenses. When I travel I am allowed to expense lunch as well but not when I am worming at home. I also don't buy coffee but drink plenty of tea which doesn't cvost mucvh at home and when I travel to an office it is free as my employer pays for teabags and milk.

All in all I am not saving anything. That said my travel/hotel/sustenance expenses have added up to quite a lot so far this year. At least its my employer picking up the bill!

Only if they have a spacesuit. Do you have a spacesuit? No. Best stay in ;)
You ain't seen my fancy dress cupboard! Talking of which I heard there was a rumour that the NHS were trying to source protective gear from specialist fetish clothing shops, as our beloved Tory Brexit-supporting government can't supply. Any truth??

A bit cabin fever but I've enjoyed spending more time with my 2 year old than I normally do.

Key worker, so still carrying on as normal other than having to queue to get into the shops and washing my hands more often.

Doesn't feel any different to normal for me really. I was out at work from Monday-Thursday (key worker) which took up most of the rest of the day, then spent the time since doing uni stuff and dossing around the house.
Nice in a way to have a legitimate excuse not to go shopping as that's a job I dread. Tomorrow will be cutting the grass and some housework before going back to work on Monday.

Would be nice to go for a proper countryside walk and climbing, but I survive being stuck indoors after surgery, so I'll survive this. I've had practice.

It's certainly what's been tweeted by a company that supplies such things:

Today we donated our entire stock of disposable scrubs to an NHS hospital. It was just a few sets, because we don't carry large stocks, but they were desperate, so we sent them free of charge.
...
When you see someone from the government saying the NHS is getting what it needs, that is a LIE. We have been contacted this week by representatives of NHS procurement all over the country, trying to source basic protective equipment and clothing.

It is beginning to seem like normal. My brain is wired to be in the moment and the current moment involves not going out much and certainly not visiting any shops.

It started on Sunday for me when I got the dreaded text telling me to stay in for 12 weeks although we hadn't been out since a bit of shopping the previous Monday. We had already more or less decided I would stay here in York but being told I have to made it seem more scary.

I have plenty to do (reading, crocheting, films and TV programmes to watch) but crave fresh air and walking outside. Also missing my kids 2 of whom still live at home but they wanted me to stay here too. Eldest is enjoying working from home and not having his usual anxiety over getting a space at Newton le Willows station, plus saving money too.

Never mind, just another 11 weeks to go o_O

Even with a spacesuit you can't go outside for very long, so has to be limited to going outside for essential reasons only.

It's a case of getting into a new way of working and working out how things are going to look (not that we've fully worked that out yet, but having something to base activities around would be a good idea - like space training).

Well I did my last day of work for the foreseeable on Thursday, disinfecting caravans before shutting them up, weird to see vans being drained down within a month or so of reconnecting them! On Monday it was going to be a case of coming in on my normal days and doing anything that was needed but that changed pretty quickly.

As for things to do, I have Chesil beach on my doorstep so have been using that for exercise, and walking along pebbles sure gives you exercise! Plus plenty of space to stay away from others.

Also waiting for some cable and connectors as I after purchasing a new drum machine (RD-8) and deciding that more cabling was required rather than buying the cables I needed pre-made I though making them myself would be a good time waster, esp. if I do the common thing of forgetting to put the connector shell on the cable before soldering.

Struggled at times. Other half seems to be coping much better than I - despite being able to work from home (when the technology plays ball, that is) I'm desperately bored of seeing these four walls. Luckily, we are taking it in turns to provide physical office cover for the stuff that can't be handled remotely, and I've got a turn coming up soon which will be a welcome opportunity for a change of scenery. Never been so keen to go in to work before...

Can't do much in the garden apart from some minor weeding. Can't buy new plants or potting compost and can't take hedge trimmings to the tip.

I am fairly introverted and normally happy with my own company but the lack of choice in where I spend my time is so frustrating.

My department is doing that at the moment, but my boss has told me I can't be put on the loop when I return from sickness because of being diabetic. Even though I tried to explain that I needed to be doing something otherwise I'd be going insane (as I don't have a work laptop/the appropriate software for part of my job on my own laptop!)
