Thank goodness no-one was injured or killed in this crazy incident.

What bothers me is that after 14 months, this crazed man is free to drive on our streets again - which is silly IMO. Since his actions didn't result in casualties, I suppose 14 months (without parole) would be ok, but he should be banned for life from driving.

Agreed.

The crazy thing is, I've read reports of people jailed for longer than they were banned from driving.

It almost suggests that it's more of a punishment to be not able to drive than it is to go to jail :?
