Do we know roughly when this one was done please?
It was seen in service on 9th Feb. As far as l know, its predecessor 150284 has not been back in service yet; maybe undergoing some mechanical work. The same for 153972, although l'm relying on other peoples' sightings for these.

Did 150 217 get refurbished after 150 284?

So that means that currently the following sets are being refurbished:
150 235 is in Canton
153 918; 153 968 and 153 982 are in Landore
158 825 is in Crewe
825 is out again it’s 828 in Crewe now last one to be done.

175002 seems to have gone to widnes transport tech, Maybe it needs updating. It was the first TFW refurb to be done back in July 2019 so maybe its going to have a polish up outside and inside?
Didn’t see the inside but 175002 looks to have had a fresh coat of tfw livery, certainly looks very shiny even next to more recent repaints.

This isn't for refurbishments, its major routine maintenance works.

So due to posts on other forums.
If the 150s are getting cascaded out first, where will they end up?
They won’t be first to leave, they are needed on the valleys.
170s, 175s and 769s are scheduled to be first to leave.

And as to the where, only the 170s (EMR) have a publicly known future home. For the rest of the fleet, 150s included, it's just rumours at best

Seeing the 175s bow out will be a very bitter pill for me to swallow :( Those trains are Wales.

It's a Shame that the most comfortable DMU units tfw have are going especially after the recent refurbishment they have received.

Would of thought the 175s would go back north, since they where new to first north western and used on the barrow/windermere to airport services but maintained in Chester.

It's subjective as to whether or not they're the most comfortable (I've got a big thing about never assuming one's opinion is everybody's) but I would agree that in my opinion they are the most comfortable in the fleet. They also look extremely smart now in the painted red and white, and very shiny.

From my local sources in the Midlands.
Possibly chiltern railways to replace the mk3s. But again disclaimer a possibility.

I've replied to both of these posts in the dedicated 175 speculation thread https://www.railforums.co.uk/threads/class-175-future-speculation.218095/page-8

153968 has been reported as having been released, refurbished, from Landore on Monday, 28th Feb. It was seen passing through Neath on its way to Canton. A path was in place for a transfer between the two locations without specifying the vehicle involved.

The final Class 158 (158 828) must be finished or almost finished refurbishment at Crewe now?

Any update on the latest Class 150 to enter the world?

828 is indeed out and about, wish I'd been paying more attention to this thread as I actually drove it the other day
150235 is also out today on the Valleys.
