175101 came out of there last week. I’ve not seen it out and about but I did see it at Chester depot looking brand new.

158821 passed me heading to Crewe CS on 5Z21. Maybe next for a refurb? And maybe repairs to one of the ends too.

I think that means every 150 has now had it's PRM mods?
It should be yes. Pretty sure everything is done now bar the Temporary 153s.

Also, to update the list 150213 is now fitted with WSP.

And hopefully they will all work with a prm unit as much as possible now

I haven't done a huge amount of travelling lately (for obvious reasons) but the few journeys I have had and the trains I've seen from a distance have with the exception of one (which was two pairs of pacers) been a 142/3 and a 150

Any news if the non prm 153s are with prm units or they working alone?

I think if all the 150s are done then this means not only all W&B units are compliant, but also that there are no longer any Sprinters (excluding 153s) in the country which are not compliant.

Only 8½ months late!

There are also Pacers working on the Rhymney to Bridgend services sandwiched between 2 x 153s 0r sometimes just 14x + 153

With social distancing here to stay until we (hopefully) get a vaccine, which most scientists are saying will (hopefully) be by autumn next year, I fail to see how TfW can afford to let go of 30 Pacers and the 9 temporary 153s it has.
Even if all 9 x 769s are in full time passenger service by Christmas, that won't allow for all 150s that currently have a Pacer attached to then start working as doubled up 150s instead will it?

There's so many TfW threads on here now I have no idea whether this is the right one to post this (think they should all just be merged together to avoid confusion) but there are three 150s out on Manchester services today so a 175 must be faulty somewhere (in addition to refurbs).

Perhaps somewhat late to be asking this, but does anyone know / could anyone tell me when 153309 entered service for TfW Rail...? Of the 4 other of the ex-Greater Anglia 153s, 2 entered service in January 2020 and the other 2 in March 2020, so we're talking around then (I know it was in service by May 2020) but I'd appreciate an exact date or at least the month of this year.

Thanks either way :)

It came from GA to Landore TMD on 22/01/20 where it underwent small mods / exams to make it ready for TfW services. It left Landore on 11/03/20 once these had been completed so would have been in service from 12th March or soon thereafter.

From my observations it doesn't do much. During the early weeks of lockdown it spent a lot of time at Carmarthen acting as a temporary messroom.

Rumour of a few more 153s arriving from a lease company. I'm guessing Porterbrook for 769 delays?
