This train takes the path of 2h89 which now terminates at SKI so have to be semi fast. It seems to form the 2h60 1741 from LDS to SKI stopping service every weekday.

Probably just changes in stock movement and a potential gap in service if no replacement train at 1256.

One consequence of the above is that, instead of having an EMU lying over in 2C at Leeds from 0813 to 1735, it only now lies over from 1337 to 1741, but to send it to Skipton and back in order to get it out of the way seems a bit extreme. Additionally, DMUs ex Lancaster, Morecambe, and Carlisle, respectively, which used to lie over at Leeds from 1138 to 1218, 1238 to 1418, and 1338 to 1518, now don't come into Leeds at all, being terminated short at Skipton. The relevant changes to EMU duties are as follows:
1) 0730 Skipton - Leeds, arr 0813, used to do 1735 Leeds - Bradford FS, now does 0815 Leeds - Skipton Broughton Rd CS (ECS), 1241 Skipton Broughton Rd CS - Skipton (ECS), 1256 Skipton - Leeds arr 1337, 1741 Leeds - Skipton. (The foregoing supposes it is the same unit which does both halves of the duty, but it might not be).
2) 1647 Skipton - Leeds, arr 1731, used to do 1741 Leeds - Skipton, now does 1735 Leeds - Bradford FS.

There is more about the foregoing in this thread. https://www.railforums.co.uk/thread...and-bentham-line-services-from-17-feb.200643/
