Ive recently watched the above wartime propaganda film showing the heroic feats of Shunter Black. I was wondering about some of the locations. The film is based in a hump yard on the Southern. A close up of a signal box diagram appears to show the divergence of the Waterloo Main and Windsor Lines. The box itself has a miniature lever frame. There are SR block Instruments together with their bells high up on an adjacent shelf. However,a GWR Spagnoletti block instrument and bell appear in the background. One presumes this is somewhere in the Clapham area. Any ideas?

Clapham A box. The GWR instruments were for the Ludgate curve to Latchmere Jn.
Only Clapham Yard never had a hump and only handled a small amount of freight traffic. The Hump Yard was at Feltham.

It just shows that film continuity errors are nothing new!
