Dunfermline had a tri axle on their X55 Perth run. Needed it as well as it was full leaving Edinburgh around 4 pm.

Wonder where the E300 are destined for?

The E300 wouldnt be for the X55 Dunfermline - Edinburgh runs?

Six E200 are going to inverness "36201 to 36206"

It seems there may be Scania E300 ( same as the St Andrew ones)

This is what is currently at Inverness:
28601
28602
28603
28604
28605
28648
28649
28650

So at least five is need just for the current off peak network. So if there is a five

So I take it Six E200 are going to Innverness with 6 E300 are down to Fife, to replace Coaches? with 6 Versa to replace the E200?

Is that correct?

Whats the point sending down the 42 seater E300? I doubt there replacing the coaches then. So were back to square one. Where are those E300 going?

27915 is sitting at Aberhill, not sure if in service but it may replace 27547. 18009 is there just now but someone suggested it might be off to Perth.

Aberhill have 3 extra Tridents but not sure what they're replacing. (18082/86 & 18179)

Coach PVR on the X55 is 5, excluding the 3 that work on/off the X54/X59.

So 6 E300s seems enitrely plausible as replacements?

The Shuttle links that Dunfermline depot have on X59/x54 use the B13 coaches, that a no go ;)

We dont know if those coaches are getting replaced, it seem to be alot of talk.

I would say having seen the new timetable from the 3rd Jan that the coaches on the X55 are not being replaced by buses. Certain journeys have the code LF which stands for low floor bus without coach features.

I believe 53814 has entered service on the X55 from Perth.

From what I've heard not all the buses have moved yet but Inverness has started to place E300 into reverse fleet for the time being. Nothing to stop buses appearing in a few months time.

All 5 of Aberhill's 59 plate E400 are on loan to Bluebird as they require seatbelted vehicles. 27915 is on loan to cover. Tridents are covering for the remainder. Perhaps some St.Andrews Enviros will also go. 27909/10 are at Aberhill so perhaps they will go to St.Andrews to cover?

It seems the cost cutting is still in place, there is an E300 running about with doggy door where the left panel just wont shut completely.

I've also heard there are plans a foot to further changes in May in-connection with the new bridge opening, It may only just be related to the No40/a.

The accounts, should be here tomorrow or Friday, i wonder what there are hiding.

I saw the oddest of workings yesterday in Perth. 53251 (NXX451) was on the 57 from Perth to Dundee via Blarigowrie.

It had been debranded of the Express Connect so I'm assuming this has been moved to Blairgowrie then?

The accounts are due by the 31st Jan so doubt you will see anything this week.

I would expect big changes in May as there will be no queues at the bridge then for buses. The queues will all be towards the new bridge then.

I thought all accounts had to be in for Dec 31st?

Im lead to believe there is extended bus lane aswell getting built.

Google companies house beta and in that search for fife scottish and you will get all the info.

14 miles of continuous bus lane from Halbeath to Kirkliston inbound. Still nothing outbound although it should be a free run up to the bridge in future.

West Scotland scania E400 15621 is on the 64. Presumably a recent transfer up here along with 15622/3

Also noted recently that different types of buses are being used on the 73s in evening rather than hybrids as I noted a E300 and solo on the 73 tonight whilst vykings and darts were used last night.

15621/2/3 must have been moved from Cumbernauld relatively quickly then as they got those Scania's from Western in exchange for Cumbernauld's 19954/5/6 which recently came up from Oxford.

And the recent fleet list that came out a couple of days ago doesn't even mention them moving to East Scotland.

I have, and have been looking for months ;) Mind you there some strange people here who are rather stupid and dont release highlighting public doc is not a bad thing.

I'm sure the accounts used to be 31 December up until last year. Anyways some more broad changes have taken place, no idea what its worth.

* Termination of appointment of Samuel Derek Greer as a director on 28 December 2016
* Termination of appointment of Michael John Vaux as a director on 28 December 2016
* Termination of appointment of Gary James Nolan as a director on 28 December 2016

What's the moving in date for buses from rennies to Cowdenbeath.
Will the rennies all over white livery be retained on the likes if 19543, 53723/4 and several other coaches etc?

Why would they repaint any buses or coaches simply because the depot is relocating a few miles away?

Heard that buses moved from wellwood to Cowdenbeath took place over the weekend whilst 52677 is at the highlands today on the 25X.
Also, accident damaged 19896 was back in service today on the 20/21 route

Next Question has to be when will some of the no19s move back to Cowdenbeath. Even if there just outstation type situation.

Oh look a 747 with Standing passengers, those buses are just not big enought. https://www.flickr.com/photos/busmanscotland/31427532084/in/feed

There is a rumor, ( hint) the company is hoping to get some new stock, bigger E200MMC ( like route no19.

New stock for the 747 or something else?

Read elsewhere that Dunfermline now have 53717, presumably for the X55.

Pictures online yesterday of an ALX 400 that appeared to skid on Bellyeoman Rd in Dunfermline on the ice and hit a lamp post/wall.

The accounts have been posted and don't look as bad as possibly expected!

Im not sure whats going here? Its possible someone has managed to off set the losses from xmas 2015/16 and pushed them in to this current years accounts. At that point it implements the service cuts to off set them?

There can say the service cuts were needed because of a drop revenue, since Operating costs have also dropped. Again its only Fife that had those cuts....

I dont think they could have moved the losses to the next financial year.

It does beg the question why the service cuts were so drastic, why standards have dropped, why buses are dirty and why they needed to annoy so many passengers....

Im starting to think even more so it was the last management team which has been kick out, has caused all this. Two roles are still waiting to be filled.

It also possible Stagecoach PLC were able to write off those losese or Paid off the losses, but told them to make cuts ?

Who knows, but its just weird.
