Yes drivers were asked August/September time about what routes required more time between stops and such and what could be done to improve them. From what I have heard, although this is just rumours from drivers, supposedly there will be more turn around time at each end of the 585 and all drivers lunch breaks for the 585 will be at the travel shop in Irvine. Whether this is true or not, we will find out in due course. It will make a difference for the 585 significantly as trying to keep them on time is impossible; they are still using pandemic timings for them. Also, there is talk that the 585 will move stance at Ayr to make it quicker to turnaround as well. We will just have to wait and see.

I've kind of found it strange that since the X28 was withdrawn some evening and early morning Sunday X25/X25A journeys still continue to operate through Condorrat and Mollinsburn, especially as there is no daytime Stagecoach service for these areas, is there a reason these journeys still serve these areas?

This is due to Midland Bluebird services stopping at around 22:20 from Glasgow, those last few X25/A’s are available to people who live in Mollinsburn/Condorrat

They are replacing the existing Megabus panoramas which will then go onto Citylink work in turn replacing the Vanhools that remains
