Monday to Saturdays there is a half-hourly service from Ashfield eastbound to Glasgow Queen Street and westbound to Anniesland, where connections are available for North Clyde Line services, including to Hyndland.

Apologies for my confusion....Let's try again:

Purley has a former steam locomotive shed, which was latterly used as the Southern Region's Ticket Accounting Section. Crianlarich has a former steam locomotive shed, which is now used for servicing on-track maintenance machines.

On 27 March 1988, Helensburgh Upper became the southern extremity of the Radio Electronic Token Block (RETB) signalling on the West Highland Line; Garelochhead is the next station along the line.

The Northern line is a London Underground line operating from High Barnet, Mill Hill East and Edgware to Kennington (later Battersea Power Station from autumn 2021) and Morden via two branches - Charing Cross, and Bank (which Old Street falls under). If you wish to board a Northern line train and directly interchange for a National Rail train, as is the case at Old Street, the furthest south would be at Balham.

Rhoose Cardiff International Airport station also has a bus service providing transport to an airport.

(I think that this is still the case, but I'm unsure whether it is; feel free to continue from the previous station if it's not.)

Gatwick Airport has a dedicated express service that non-stops to a central London terminus, in this case London Victoria. Heathrow Airport, with stations at Heathrow Terminals 2&3 and Heathrow Terminal 5 also has their own non-stop service, which terminates at London Paddington.

Both of the platforms at Danescourt are, like Waungron Park, accessible for disabled passengers via ramps.
