Thanks for the correction, I saw yesterday's working for real and assumed today's reported times were also a full nova 3

1P92/1T51 run to/from Leeds (SX).
The return working of 1T78 is now 1E49 rather than 1T47.
Most departures from York are later past the hour than previously.

Mostly still training backlogs, which were initially triggered by late delivery causing a clash with the 2 year virus society that we are only starting to see any relief from finally.

Curious that 1B63, the current 6.09 from Sheffield is absent from the May timetable on RTT. Covid service slimming or is that supposed to be a Nova 3 when more training is completed?

It's possible it's just not been added yet as schedules are missing for odd other services around the UK.

M5a set heading east over Hazel Grove viaduct about 15 minutes ago, loco on rear. 5Z19 Piccadilly to Cleethorpes, training run.
Happens regularly (where staffing allows). TPE are making use of the non-running services for training runs

As discussed in the May timetable thread, the plan to restore the through Scarborough - Liverpool services from May has now been abandoned.
The Scarborough - York shuttles are to continue until at least 10th September.

Are they the same as in Post 1084 19/01/2022 ?.
And where are the rest of the sets kept ?.
First idea was York from London but I could chase 195s, 331s and 397s as well if I went elsewhere. I am thinking a long day in Manchester would bag all the four Scarborough workings. Similarly in Leeds but a bit shorter day (but minus 397s). But Manchester might see a training run. Also Longsight hosts one iirc (visible from passing trains ?).

Yes. That is what they'll be until at least May, possibly all the way through to September.

Thanks. Surprised progress of training does not allow another set to get used and keep staff familiar.
Just checked RTT and three of the four across the Pennines aren't today !. I guess not very reliable service so York would be safer ?.

Unfortunately it seems that they aren’t.
Because traincrew are in industrial dispute and not working rest days.
There simply isn’t enough staff to run trains currently, let alone a service uplift. The company are hoping that by September things can increase with the numbers of drivers and conductors being brought into the company.

A question: Is the 1529 Manchester Piccadilly to Scarbrough a class 68 hauled train
It normally is. Comes ECS from Longsight arriving at 15:17, and is normally sat on top of another train when I've got on it.
