Some really nice screenshots recently - as is to be expected on this thread! The variety of scenarios, and the variety of screenshot angles and styles, is really lovely.

Not being very up the simulation side of things, what’s going on here then? :)

It’s an Easter Egg from the Midland Mainline route for Train Sim. Route builders often leave little amusing things like this dotted about routes to discover. They’re normally quite hidden but this one was rather obvious!

I thought it was some sort of strange Victorian contraption - you've heard of the police 37 and 47, here's a police wagon. Could often be seen running along the MML in steam days - they'd push it down gradients, and then it'd be attached to the rear of a passing train to get up the inclines. ;)

That’s pretty cool. What other hidden Easter Egg things are there?

Paddington is a bit empty for 0800 on a weekday! 0805 Paddington to Bristol formed of 222020 using my fictional Western Mainlines TTL based off the EMR Intercity timetable before May. 1ph Oxford and Cardiff, 2ph Bristol via Bath, 1ph Bristol fast via Bristol Parkway with some continuing to Paignton, Plymouth and Penzance.

Yeah they are lovely people!!<( I find most of them to be all mouth & no action. They seem to like throwing stuff at my 158's, spitting off bridges on the windscreen, hiding in toilets to avoid paying fares, standing as close to the edge of the platform as possible regardless if you are stopping there or if you are going through at 90mph. (still I find the windscreen washer & wiper combo works well there, takes a bit of timing but the results are worth it when you manage to smack some gobby chav in the face with a load of foam & water from a wiper flick) . If my guard is a good one & will give back up then I always confront them on train if they start getting annoying & being overly loud behind the drivers door or like the other night when they start ripping bits of trim off the train. We did have a group of rugby fans throw three non paying chavs off the train a while back, I was laughing my head off. But that was unusual, all this pollitical correctness stuff has just led to a plummet in sociaty's standards & most people are too afraid to stand up to them at all hence they grow stronger.
Amen to that

Here's the epic voyage of 1A13, from just outside Leeds, reversal at Leeds, to London Kings Cross. DVT 82215 is on the London end, and Intercitty Swallow 91119 is on the country end:

I downloaded it last night - has there been another version since then?

Not sure when it was released but yeah there’s a v1.1. It fixes the issue when you load one of the scenarios and it can’t find some of the 801 LNER AI. And a few other fixes too.

I’ll have to have a look. My 801s are currently invisible, with only the corridor connections and couplers visible.

Some more driving on the Leeds Lines Merge today, this time from KGX up to Leeds with a class 90:

Wow I remember that livery. There were a couple of other ones painted in interesting colours too including one in pseudo SNCF garb from what I remember.

Some screenshots from my recent Train Sim drives:

Screenshot_The Sutton and Mole Valley lines (V2.2)_51.46482--0.16891_06-48-53.jpg
The Sutton and Mole Valley Lines route, freeware from AlanThomsonSim - 377309 sits at Clapham Junction with a service to London Victoria.

Screenshot_Portsmouth Direct Line - London Waterloo to Portsmouth_51.50104--0.11419_22-46-09.jpg
London Waterloo - I can't remember the scenario and I'm not sure if I drove much of it but it was nice to see the amount of AI around.

Screenshot_Portsmouth Direct Line - London Waterloo to Portsmouth_50.79691--1.10772_07-31-01.jpg
A scenario I started working on, with 444019 seen at Portsmouth on a service to London Waterloo.

444019 again - the cows don't look interested.

Screenshot_ECML London - Peterborough_51.54727--0.10349_09-48-31.jpgScreenshot_ECML London - Peterborough_51.60102--0.12427_10-03-01.jpg
And then two screenshots from a drive today, starting on the excellent Northern City Line from Gü Studios at Moorgate.

I've also just realised you can see my appalling framerate in all of these - 14fps is practically a slideshow but it's better than a still picture I suppose
