It's been a while since I saw this thread active, great shots Peter. A few of my latest ones.

Thanks very much :)
Your screenshots look really good too - some interesting services! I really like the lighting on the 31 and HST in the last two: I assume it's the AP Sky & Weather EP which has done that?

-Peter

It isn't, I don't have that pack. It was just Cloudy Rain I think and at around 07:25.

I bought a few things right at the end of the Lunar Sale today and I've thoroughly enjoyed playing about with them. I bought London - Faversham, a route I've wanted for a long while, North Somerset Railway, and the 73p bundle linked to upthread. Here are some of my screenshots from my drives.

Screenshot_London Faversham High Speed_51.44167-0.33025_09-29-31.jpg
Above: A Class 395 leaves Ebbsfleet International. This was a Quick Drive and as such, it meant I roared through Stratford International at 140mph! I also had a few issues with the TVM signalling to begin with, which was fun. :)

Screenshot_Fife Circle Line Edinburgh to Dunfermline_55.95056--3.19736_09-13-20.jpg
Above: 60009 'Union of South Africa' leaves Edinburgh Waverley on the Fife Circle Route. This came in the 73p bundle linked upthread and I was surprised to see the engine included in the route! I've not explored the route at all really yet.

Screenshot_North Somerset Railway_51.28460--2.43831_09-13-42.jpg
Above: A Class 117 trundles along the North Somerset Railway on a service to Frome Market. I went for this route mainly for the 117 and some of the assets which came with it, but having driven from Radstock to Frome Market, I actually quite enjoy it!

Screenshot_North Somerset Railway_51.25421--2.38894_09-22-14.jpg
Above: Another shot of the aforementioned 117 - this time at Mells station. I'm not sure if the passengers appreciated my harsh braking going into every station or my slightly erratic driving when changing from gear to gear!

Great shots, Peter. I take ridiculously too many.

In case anyone doesn’t know, you can switch off the annoying click when you take a screenshot.

I’be yet to try driving anything more advanced than a Class 86 :)

Thanks very much - I think we're very much alike in that respect then! :)
I also should have added in my post that I've really enjoyed seeing others' screenshots: they always show something different and, a lot of the time, show things I don't have yet but would like to buy.

Sounds interesting - how do you do that? I'm not sure if I'd want to, though; it's quite a good indication that it's done what I've wanted to do!

Whe you take as many as I do, it was driving me batty!

It's in the Steam settings at the bottom (SHift Tab?), I did it once and forget now! Will look again and return with the answer.

I bet it would! I don't take anywhere as many screenshots now as I did at one point, but I do like taking a few now and then as they're kind of like taking photos on the real thing, but free. Especially useful during the current situation!

Ah OK - thanks very much. I'll have a look at some point either this evening or tomorrow.

When you are in the opening screen of TS (Drive, etc), press SHIFT+TAB and you will see a Steam overlay. Look for Settings at the bottom middle, click that, then select the In Game tab, and you'll see on the right hand column the option to uncheck a box for "play a sound" under screen shots. That dialogue also contains an option to stick your FPS in the upper right corner, if you want to keep an eye on it. I have it left on, it's very unintrusive.

Again - a very nice selection of screenshots there @Darandio. I like the way they show the trains running through the landscape. What's the service in the last photo - I can see it's a 47 dragging an Class 91+Mk4 set but that's it. :)

Thanks Peter.

The last one is an ECML drag around the Durham Coast, sometime around 1997.

I bought the AP 43 MTU EP yesterday and drove the flying banana from Swansea to Bristol Parkway. Various shots here of the NMT at Bridgend, approaching Cardiff, at Newport and entering the Severn Tunnel. A lovely non-stop drive and a good scenario for a great product.

Some from this week. The first few are from a scenario that I made for the North Wales Coast based off the 1710 Euston - Holyhead service which splits in two at Chester. The last two are from a run up the MML to Bedford with a pair of 319's.

Some very nice shots there @Vault - I like the way they focus on the engine/unit as if they were real photographs. :)

At Bristol Temple Meads, we have my Castle Class HST on a service from Portsmouth to Cardiff, accompanied by Voyager, a 158/9, and an IET:

Moving on to the West Coast Mainline South, LNWR are utilising their 319s on an evening run from Tring to London Euston:

On the picturesque Manchester to Huddersfield route by PenninePacer, 68023 hauls a rake of MK5a coaches toward Manchester:

And finally, the Fife Bridge hosts its evening loco-hauled diagram, with a rake of EWS MK2 coaches behind a class 67 (set in the early days of ScotRail loco-haulage on the Fife Circle):
