I bought the ATS 185 tonight, and it’s really, really good. The cab functionality is brilliant, it has passenger announcements, it looks great and the sounds are decent too. WELL worth buying.

Would you be able to post a shot of one in the Dynamic Lines livery? Some 185 crew without TS are rather nostalgic for it!

There's a few screenshots of it in Dynamic Lines on the AlanThomsonSim store page:

And there'll be lots of coverage of it on YouTube coming up soon - it's a brilliant train that can run on a variety of routes we already have in TS. One of my favourite channels is TrainContractor, and I imagine they'll upload something fairly soon:

Just finished a scenario from Manchester to Liverpool in a Dynamic lines unit. Very nice to drive.

Had a challenging run on the Chat Moss route with loaded Biomass wagons, from Drax to Tuebrook (driving from Manchester Victoria to Tuebrook). Stuck behind a late running stopper from Crewe to Lime Street, it presented lots of cautionary aspects:

A nice Autumnal evening run along the South Wales Main Line from Bristol TM to Cardiff, then shunting out to the Relief Sidings. The screenshots never seem to include the AP Weather for some reason, but in-game it was a lot more autumnal I promise:

My first drive along the new Nottingham to Lincoln extension for the JT MML. Really lovely looking route with superb detail.

That looks lovely. Which scenario is it?

It was 2U24, the 16:06 Taunton to Cardiff Central, which comes with the AP 150/2 pack. It’s for the South Wales Main Line, as opposed to the South Wales Coastal (I’m not sure which is unbranded and which isn’t).

Had a nice rush hour drive on the Harrogate Loop today. Since it's been updated to version 2.0, I forgot just how nice it is. This scenario is from a Scenario Pack for the freeware Harrogate Loop from OTS, with the pack available here:

Lovely shots and it’s indeed a cracking route. It was just slightly disappointing that the scenarios that came with it didn’t all work correctly. I’ve just downloaded the 12 scenario pack from ATS too.

I stopped playing version one as I just couldn't get along with the track textures. Now that it's changed in version two, along with adding the direct line (and the loop being my local line) it really is a great addition to the game.

Also, a bit of a museum piece, with the impending modernisations on the Harrogate Loop IRL.

The beauty of TS in a nutshell for me. The amount of times I get asked to replace the semaphore signals on the Durham Coast Line section of my route is incredible, the whole point of them being there is to represent the era that I have chosen. I'm sure Tom will get the same requests to update the Harrogate Loop in due course.

That small island of semaphores at Hartburn Junction (I believe that's the right area) is one of my favourite parts of the ECMLNE.

Finally got round to fixing the way TS looks on my monitor vs. how it actually looks on the screenshots. Seems Nvidia was applying some sort of overlay which was messing with the game looks:

Latest installment in my Western Mainlines scenarios is the 1702 London to Paignton. Part 1 goes to Bristol calling at Reading and Bristol Parkway.

An early morning run from (just outside) Stafford to Garston F.L.T., on WCML Midlands and Northwest. It's a chilly day so lots of wheelslip and lots of arcing:

3 hours with 800015 and 800013 between Penznace and Exeter. Basically all stations to Plymouth before running non stop to Exeter.
