Just had this error message several times. Abandoned it eventually and bought tickets on TPE website with no problems except a bit sluggish. I chose Trainsplit so that I could use the seat selector, although it gave me different coaches, whereas TPE gave me seats together.
No Trainsplit payment has been taken from my bank account but it’s a little disconcerting so thought I had better flag it up.
Should say I’m on an iPhone on Safari.
