At this point I'd just take the mock up picture with a pinch of salt. Remember when the original Zap was launched and they showed the livery on a B5, a few people were adamant they'd be the vehicles used.

Incidentally is there anything within the fleet at the moment that could be cascaded to Rosso for these services? There's also the chance they'll be buying used buses in again.

True, after all, they did unveil the blue York & County livery on a B10 that only ended up being used on the Versas and E200s

It looks like they have a few demonstrators to plug the gaps in the fleet.
The WYIS fleetlist also lists a replacement Metrocity demonstrator YJ67 FXE (two tone blue livery) at Burnley, replacing YJ17FXE (orange/white livery). Of course they now have 3602, 3608-3612 spare so maybe a shuffle of vehicles coming up assuming no further service reductions. Already 3603 has moved from Burnley to Malton.

Just come across an article saying a bus had an accident last night just outside Keighley. Car driver seriously injured and taken to Leeds General Infirmary with the bus driver taken to Airedale Hospital.

I don't know if it's the case here, but the road has been used as a racetrack since the first lockdown as soon as it gets dark.

1331-1344 is fourteen numbers but the list of old numbers is only thirteen.
Look forward to being advised of the correction

Not to sure whats going to happen to the current loan buses and how they are going to be renumbered, the Blackpool Centros and the BooBee MMC400 that I've been seeing daily on various School Services while I've been furlloughed from work.

I think any demo loans will stay in 300s, I don’t think they’ll change Blackpool’s loans as I don’t think they’ll be allowed to remove their vinyls

I wouldnt be too sure with Dalesway as I saw a reply to the tweet on Social Media yesterday that at least 2 have been repainted already with another 4 alegedly awaited and apparently Coastliner are getting some of the X43 batch aswell due to reliability problems with their Streetdecks.

Apparanrtly all the current Hotline B7TLs are down for withdrawl.

Streetdecks? You mean B5s?

Surely it would make more sense to have the Hotline B7TLs for the schools so they can rid the Presidents and get the fleet age down.

I'm guessing it's because the B5TL is 4-cylinder and Coastliner really needs a 6-cylinder bus

It was said that Coastliner were getting 3 of the ex X43 buses to replace 427-429 which have already gone to Rosso

Yes, sadly the decision to use B5 engines was a bad choice. Just don’t have the power needed to survive on coastliner. Lot of cases of over heating beyond belief...

A lot of the Presidents are I suspect owned, almost certainly those new to Blazefield while the B7TLs are no doubt leased. All buses prior to 2006 were normally bought by Blazefield.

The B7TLs are owned too. 2005, but possible they were leased prior to purchase.

The WYIS fleetlist has changed today with all Rosso vehicles not allocated to Rochdale being listed under the Burnley and Blackburn allocations.

That is an interesting interpretation that I’m not sure I agree with

It also doesn’t tackle the fact that some Rosso Rochdale buses are on B&P legals

Transdev Keighley not able to cover some of their school work at the moment so Metro are covering it with other operators including, ironically, connexions buses.

Is that not basically what Transdev and AH have been saying they're doing over the years anyway, but wrapped up in a new brochure with a few new graphics and another new slogan?

CityZap returns on the 13th December. Presumably with the new E400 MMC's.

Thinking of having a trip out once the new X43 and CityZaps are in service but what with Lancashire and Greater Manchester going into Tier 3 next week I'm not to sure whether travel will be allowed so might have to leave it until New Year sometime.
