There is quite a difference in the 175 times. Record holder is currently 175113, done in only 24 days. 102 and 105 took 36 days. 116 took 39. 101 and 103 took 42 days. No idea with 104 as it was in having it's can rebuildDoes anyone know how long on average the refurbs of 150s, 158s and 3 car 175s are taking?
Any idea who’s next for refurbishment?150241 is in the new livery, can confirm it is in Canton depot.

Unrefurbished ones in service are 175106-108/110-112/114-115.How many 175s are there left to do - I travelled on both a refurbished and non refurbished one yesterday and the ones not done are really looking bad now. I 'think' the number was 175106.
thanks for your reply. Half left to do then out of the 3 car 175s.Unrefurbished ones in service are 175106-108/110-112/114-115.
You would’ve thought they’d go by condition - as of recent they’re an absolute state...150278 now in Pullman's Canton being worked on. That blows up the theory that the ex Wessex ones would be first for the treatment. Merely coincidence I should think.
The only 3 car that's not in service today from the old liveried units is 108, so guess that's next.Looking on RTT there is a path tomorrow night from Chester to Widnes so 175109 must be ready
Any idea what one could be next
Cardiff - Doncaster movement today, guessing its 158841 As she finished up at canton yesterday?
Are they removing the toilets or will the toilet on a 153/9 be available when the 153/9 is coupled to a unit with a UAT?153926 ran from Canton to Landore this morning presumably as the next one for PRM. No.sign of a path for 153906 coming back yet.
I'm not sure if there are plans to remove them altogether or not, but the toilets on 153/9s will need to remain locked out of use as they lack retention tanks. Are they removing the toilets or will the toilet on a 153/9 be available when the 153/9 is coupled to a unit with a UAT?
I believe that it’s a lack of retention tanks that prevents them being used. Are they removing the toilets or will the toilet on a 153/9 be available when the 153/9 is coupled to a unit with a UAT?
Beat me to itI'm not sure if there are plans to remove them altogether or not, but the toilets on 153/9s will need to remain locked out of use as they lack retention tanks.
The limited PRM mods happening on the 153/9s don't include fitting retention tanks then; thanks for the answer.I'm not sure if there are plans to remove them altogether or not, but the toilets on 153/9s will need to remain locked out of use as they lack retention tanks.
It's probably (although I don't know for sure) more to do with the passenger door at the old bog end is far too narrow for a wheelchair user to use.No problem. I suspect that the location of the original 153 toilets precludes the easy fitting of retention tanks - hence the PRM toilets being fitted at the opposite end of the unit.

Also a very fair point. It's probably (although I don't know for sure) more to do with the passenger door at the old bog end is far too narrow for a wheelchair user to use.
Is it a repaint or vinyl job? As based on pictures I’ve seen it looks to be vinyl on the cab frontBack to the livery, 150278 as already mentioned, in Pullman's and 150257 outside seemingly waiting to go in. They are going through them thick and fast.
