Hi,
I've applied for quite a few year in industry placements but haven't yet heard anything - most of the deadlines closed in late December/early January - but was wondering whether anyone has any idea of how long it's likely that I'll hear from those companies I've applied for? I've applied for various placements at GTR, Network Rail & XC as well as a few other non-railway ones.
I've also been trying to secure some sort of internship or work experience over a few weeks or months in the summer but so far have had no luck in doing so, and it's getting quite irritating that I haven't had any responses yet, does anyone have any advice on how I might go about organising something like this? For example what to include in letters etc?
