virgin 225's HST's and 87's

I may be totally wrong but i have seen recent pictures of virgin 225's on the wcml, is this true and if so could i have the times for carlsile, also anything with thier HST sets. On a similar note the class 87's are likely to come back in for summer so get your cameras ready, it would be great when they do come back in for times to be posted :D

wait...im very sure on this pic of a VIRGN 225, unless it was going forMoD storage :(, so whats the furthest for HST sets ?

You sure you aint saw a Mk3 Set moving from Longtown to Long Marston?

Virgin doesn't run HST's a long time. Now they only run on Saturday Summer specials (Which don't go anywhere near Carlisle or the upper part of WCML).

87's will deffinatly come back during the summer; currently a driver training run is on but it is confirmed that it'll run on the following diagram (don't know it's number):

so no driver training to carlsile, so then eventualy when they do come back will these be going all the way to glasgow ?

Look at what Ikar posted. The 87 will run between Birmingham and Euston. It may possibly go as far as Wolverhampton if there is a Pendolino failure but the 87 wont go any further

Set may do charter ADEXs/control reliefs a bit further later on subject to top-level control swaying to pressure from half of Wembley....Wait and see....

There hasn't been a 91(225set) on the WCML since the earlier 90s, certainly never a Virgin coloured one!

225s are Class 91 + Mk4 Coaching Stock + Mk4 DVT which only runs on the East Coast Mainline and is currently operated by GNER.

What your thinking of 'Demps' is 87s + Mk3s which are going to be back on the WCML while all the Pendolinos are having Sanding Equipment fitted to them. There will be only one 87 set running on the WCML and will be operating between London Euston and Birmingham New Street/Wolverhampton.

HSTs are going to be used on Saturdays by XC - See 'Tours and Special Workings' board for HST ADEX times.

No way will Virgin use a 87 on Northern part of WCML - It is absolutely impossible to run a 125mph timetable with a loco capable of 110mph.

Yeh probably, strangely enough on the double headed 47 hauled special to carlsile yesterday the coaching stock was of virgin origin including a DVT trailer :D, now i wish i got more pics of the DVT. oh to spoil the red streak there was a FGW fag packet sleeper.
