Hi,

Me again, just re-reading some emails I have about my old favourite line - can anyone please explain what this means:

"at Great Harwood Junction 1966 there was NO TRACK at
all to it's past points junction".

Does this simply mean both the up and down lines leading on to the loop line were taken away at the junction with the East Lancs line?

Thanks,
Andy.

As it stands it's a bit garbled - maybe meant "past the junction points?"

We now know, from previous threads, that GH Junction box didn't close with the Loop Line AND that one track remained in place past 1966, so TBH I can't make sense of it.

Would posting a longer chunk make any better sense?
