OK so I found this video made by the transport authority in Vienna entitled "Sliding on escalators can be deadly"
I don't know why, but I think it's hilarious

Think it's time the vast majority of the rail networks were electrified. In the next ten years there'll be a lot more electric cars, but with politicians in charge, the railways will be slow to expand the wires.
It turns out my side-effects are actually COVID-19, and I was exposed before getting jabbed. I have never felt anything like it so I beg everyone to please take care.
Thrilled to have been jabbed. Looking forward to the next one.

I must be very lucky, everyone I know has felt at least mildly unwell within a few days. I had a slightly sore arm on the second day and that was it.

Probably means the second dose will make me feel utterly wrecked! ;)

I've just had my second Pfizer dose. OK so far, but I'm stocked up on junk food and painkillers just in case. :)
Hi Whiteway,
Thanks for your info regards 42560. Several of us around this area were wondering if something like you stated
had occurred to that Dart so not a great surprise. The years take their toll on buses just like ourselves of course.
Seems 42952 has been employed on various routes by Taunton depot these last few weeks.
Cheers,

Reading an alphabetically organised list of stations becomes incredibly unsatisfying down the middle, because you get a list of all the london terminals irritatingly interrupted by the two London Roads.

Not to mention that London station which isn't a London Terminal - London Fields.
If you ever feel like you're wasting time, somebody is writing an F1 fan fic that currently lies at over 4.5 million words.

For comparison, the King James Bible is 783k words and the ENTIRE Harry Potter series is almost 1.09 million words.

8 years and 6 months, at least in my ownership; was of course built before Dec. 2012. But yeah, I wrung the life out of it. By far my longest-lived PC/laptop.

Let's hope the new one lasts nearly as long lol ;)
Does anyone happen to know what is the meaning of a bright blue sign showing "GSM-R" with a 3 large digits underneath is?

I spotted a few at Gloucester. I'd upload an image but I can't figure out how to do one in a profile post

They are a GSM-R registration code. The symbol you see next to the wording is the same as the symbol the GSM-R keypad for registration.

Generally speaking, the code is the last 3 digits of the signal number, with 0s added in if the signal has a short number (Say M23 for example, in which case the code would be 023).

They are meant to be where signal plates can't be viewed very clearly from where the cab would be, but they seem to be everywhere, including where there is no problem with reading the number on the signal plate.
If you want cheaper tickets Taunton-Padd, try looking up tickets to beyond London that involve a cross-London transfer. They can be considerably cheaper than a ticket to Pad.

If i did that i would end up using the full length of the ticket first before going back to London

I have been rather busy lately with work and bowling but I have always had an interest in buses ever since a was very young.
I can only apologise if my command of the English language is poor but I also like to keep updated with what is going on at

Blackpool is actually not that bad. So many attractive people, prices and places

Haha no I was not paid to write that, but wish I was. It is great place isn’t it? Shame I have to travel from the other end of the county to get there
NLCs: If you are in the rail industry let me have your work e-mail address and I will send you a spreadsheet that lists all of them.
Thank you very much to the fantastic member of staff in my local ticket office this morning who patiently went through and booked me reservations on several trains for a journey I want to make shortly - despite them not being the ones that appear in the journey planners for that journey, and despite me not explaining what I wanted very clearly!
