Just to add to this, The other day my 15yo son was travelling on his dated safeguarded dependent Priv and was held up by the gate staff at Watford High Street. The lady claimed it wasn’t his ticket. She let him through eventually ‘just this once’.
I travelled on the 06:56 ex Bletchley this morning in the declassified 1st Class bit.
Joining at Tring. Approx 10 late from Bletchley, further delayed at Berko for about 5 minutes with doors failing to open, then a further 3 minute delay at Hemel with an unbooked passenger assist. Meaning that...
The reason the Approach Control is on is because the signal reverts to danger/randomly changes aspects then the drivers are approaching. WM116 on the UF is the same.
There is random electrical interference that causes the Datalink issue. The technicians have been working to find where that is...
Yeah that’s not the reason that the wash road can’t be accessed. In fact we have been turning back on 21 Road, we just can’t use it to go further along it through the train wash into depot.
The Carriage Wash Road at Stonebridge Park has unavailable since the start of the year for reasons I’m not prepared to share. But it should be available again in the near future so hopefully the outside will get a clean up at least. The interior state of these trains is a disgrace.
All signalling lost at Hanslope Junction earlier. Back on now, but obviously a lot of crew displacement. Apparently the 20:12 is resourced so hopefully will run. Your ticket for the cancelled 19:37 will be valid.

Fat chance of that. Trying to get a cab ride is hard these days. The cab pass is only officially valid with a travel ticket. I used to enjoy cab rides on the Western Route when I was over there.
Sorry, to clarify, I thought every PSR at a diverging route had a warning board. I know from cab rides along the Berks and Hants that not all plain line PSRs have warning boards.
