One of Skeggy’s double deck Gemini’s has been repainted and it looks great apart from the black band on the right side but otherwise looks good
Grrr, another non native vehicle in the Stagecoach fleet that actually suits the new livery; The other being the Scania Omnicities.

That looks splendid, and I think it's the best livery those deckers have ever had since their original green and yellow livery as RoadCar veichles.

I think it looks really good on the Geminis overall. I'd be inclined to agree with you about it being the best, were it not for that awful white box slapped haphazardly on the front.

Seriously, it looks like a sticker applied by someone who really couldn't be bothered.

Blimey, what went before must have been pretty horrid if this is the best!!

Nothing on it works for me, doesn’t really suit any vehicles it’s been painted on and I don’t think there are two vehicles that have the same application! I mean on single decks they’re painting black bits in white which really look odd, yet on this they’ve found some black and got carried away!

I agree about the black window band not looking quite right over the staircase. Otherwise though it looks really good.

I was in Edinburgh on Friday and saw a Stagecoach coach in a white and purple livery, never got a picture. Is that a new livery, if so it’s far nicer than the yellow.

Thanks for this report - most useful. A couple of queries:

I had 22744 done as well - was this an erroneous report? - while I'm sure I've seen photos of 59306 in the "specialist" scheme alongside 59307. Interesting to see 15735 join the new Scanias in the "interurban" scheme.

47650 is a Stockport vehicle - it's 47658 that's been done at Witney.

Interurban is an Arriva scheme. The orange livery is long distance

Thanks for that, I’ve made the amendments now. Also, 22744 is still in Gold that was a false report. Also yes 15735 was repainted yellow at north Bristol and it should be getting its vinyls at Gloucester probably, I’ll get a photo ASAP.

It was part of the "Express City Connect" brand and it's here on the service from St Andrews to Glasgow Airport. Most of them have had the branding removed and many are now in the yellow "school bus" livery

None of the 7 Plaxton Elites that are in the purple Express Jet Connect livery (54331-54333 and 54358-54361) have been repainted in to the Stagecoach Distance livery, yet.

Yea it has had vinyls applied for the gold so theres no jagged lines or anything
It has started to grow on me and I think it’s much better than the ‘local’ livery and mighthave been a better national standard livery.

P.S. Just a thought. The use of blue on the front end of buses, especially in parts of Manchester with Diamond, Arriva, some independents and now Stagecoach, is rather uninspiring and I think liveries, I.e. their brand, should stand out more.

No I think the local livery is best for that role. It emphasises the new logo more, making it better for a livery you are more likely to see

One of West Scotland’s new arrivals is in a special yellow and green local livery.

That yellow/shade of green combo looks absolutely splendid, I wish more of their veichles carried that livery. :D

Somerset with international travel (e.g. across th
Stagecoach Merseyside and South Lancashire 15305 has received a long-distance based burgundy and tan heritage livery and I actually think it looks amazing. It should’ve been the standard for the whole fleet.

Burgundy and tan? Better get to Specsavers.

It’s dark red and cream!

FWIW, it’s ok as a one off but a fleet of them would be unbelievably dull (see when Midland Red North “recreated” the BMMO livery), no better than the appalling “new” livery
