You know I was very tempted to think that it was where you say - very reminiscent. But then I decided the platform does not poke through under the bridge at the West End so the bridge abutment would have to be visible in the photo at the end of that platform.

Except I was saying I thought it was the east end...

Anyway... let's think... somewhere else curving sharply to the right... errr... pass!

Correct - your floor
Can you recheck that is Sydenham Hill station as that station has a tunnel one end and the line is reasonable straight the other end.
It maybe that with the telephoto lens it has distorted the distances and curve.

I took the photo myself and can assure you that it is Sydenham Hill - the bridge is Hunts Slip Road. The line has a gentle curve all the way north from Sydenham Hill to West Dulwich.
