I received it on Monday morning, then the interview email was this morning

Invited to interview last Thursday
Invited to interview today for the Leeds vacancy (over the moon obviously).
It seems from others posting the structure is just the interview initially (not a full assessment day), and then presumably you move on to psychometrics and everything else should you pass the initial interview?

Yeah mate Northern do the DMI 1st, if you’re successful you will then be invited to psychometric assessments.

Passed interview today, now waiting in talent pool
Passed everything and was offered a start date about an hour after leaving the assessment. Just waiting on the contract to be sent out now and starting in November. I am so excited to start it's untrue!

Congratulations Digory and Orange08, well done. I'm booked in for psychometrics shortly so I'll see how I do. Did they give you an option for starting a course or was it simply an offer of November? I only ask because I may have some issues with my current job (although I appreciate I still have to pass the assessments).
Thanks mate. To be fair I didn’t apply for the depot I’ve been offered, I was placed in a talent pool for 4/5 weeks for York. They rang me couple of week ago and asked if I’d be interested in a place at Leeds starting in November. I snapped their hand off as Leeds is way better for me location wise. Can’t really say if there’s any alternate dates as I took the 1st one that was offered.

I applied in early August and was invited to interview early September. I had the interview a couple of weeks ago.

Sorry to hear you haven't had a response from them yet. It's always frustrating waiting to hear back about a job application. I may be wrong but I don't think their recruitment department is very big so they may still be processing the applications.
