Has anyone heard from them regarding the 2nd stage of the process? I’ve still only heard and completed the first round of questions/scenarios

Nothing for me so far, bare in mind that some may have submitted their applications at the 11th hour. So the deadline for the online assessments would’ve been last Friday.

I am pretty sure I’ve done stage 2 of the assessments (although not 100% certain as I have applied for multiple jobs with TfL) in early January but I’m yet to hear back.

I received an email from Tfl yesterday saying they are sending invitation for the assessments in batches however they do not have any dates available at the moment and will be in touch when they do.

No time frame given.

That's great, you got through to 3rd stage.

I'll say practice the crap out of the material they send you. And visit any central London station and talk to some staff.

Looking at the guide online it says the online sssessment, role play and interview are all done on the same day. Is this the case or was it a thing pre-Covid?

I was invited on the 4th January by Cubiks online to complete the Customer Scenarios assessment which I completed quite promptly. I am yet to hear anything back. Has everyone who received the email on Friday received anything else since completing the Cubiks assessments or the only other correspondence was that of Fridays? Did anyone fail to meet the standards and receive a negative outcome email? Bit confused about where I stand at the minute. These transport jobs are SO time consuming and ambiguous!

I’m in the same boat as you, I completed the same assessments on the same day too, I’m still yet to hear back. However, as said previously for the people who have heard back since, they are being sent in batches and with no physical assessments pencilled in yet I would assume it would be silly to invite everyone who has passed as there will be more people than a lot would expect (One of the job postings closed early due to the amount of applications)

I received the email today that I’ve been successful with the online assessments and that they are inviting for assessments in batches and will be in touch when there is availability, as above. Feels like it’ll be a long wait!

I’ve also just received an email stating that I am through to the next stage, stage 3. Don’t really know what to expect as this is the first serious job that I have applied too. Any tips or advice would be great!

There are 4 stages

1 - Online assessment
2 - Class room based assessment
3 - Role play
4 - Interview Via Teams (8 questions, 4 warm up questions and 4 scenario based questions)

Anyone need help with the above I'll be more than happy to help

I have all the answers for all the stages.

Good luck

Ps. I have been successful and waiting for my training.

Firstly, congrats on bagging the job. Did you apply for the recent role which was advertised? As far as I heard, the turn around is quite long so I am unsure when I will hear back. I passed the online assessment just waiting on a date now.

I think I will take you up on your offer and ask if you would kindly be able to share some answers?

Thanks!

Hi,
I applied Sept 2021, got offered the job October 22!

As far as I know they have a massive backlog from pre/post covid and don't have enough trainers.

I think the one you have applied is for the 2 year placement (which means it may take up to 2 years for you start) or it may be as soon as depending on the business needs.

However don't let that hinder your chances, keep going. I understand you're waiting for the classroom assessment.

Email me on [email protected], I'll pass on my number and we can go from there, that goes to anyone who are on the or waiting for the 2nd stage.

Hi, thanks for your reply.

Yes, the role I applied for is a placement over the next 2 years.

I did apply September 2021 but failed the classroom assessments around May last year.

Not to worry, if you follow my guideline I can pretty much guarantee you'll get the job

Lol, that's some claim.

TfL recruitment is famously opaque, so I'm suprised at such a bold claim.

I must admit, I'm curious why you offered to help people offline, rather than here on this forum where your help would surely reach a greater audience.

Well obviously apply common sense. He can help but overall its down to the person. I see nothing wrong with his comments.

Not sure what the issue with him helping people offline? It's deffo easier to engage with people via email or WhatsApp?

Seems like you have a problem for the sake of having an problem

I must have read that original post wrong, I thought that "if you follow my guideline then I can pretty much guarantee you will get the job" sounded more like a formula that could be applied to any person reading it rather than a tailored response to each individual. In any case, I don't ever have a problem with someone helping someone else out; it just piqued my curiosity.

You being curious is your problem, I'm talking to wider audience.

Tfl recruitment is opaque, I have been trying to get in for many years, went in many times for the assessments failed, but kept on trying and trying!

Finally I got in.

As for the help to reach a greater audience here, I have not declined that I have clearly stated all the stages and explained.

However I will not post up questions and answers which are being assessed with in the tfl recruitment here.

So please don't question me.

Yes it is tailored for all, the questions and answers are the same

You know what the formula is? I have the test papers

I have just received an email from Tfl to book a slot for the first assessment. They have plenty of dates/times available for March and April.
