I don't know the specific answer but it wouldn't surprise me if the operators are paid bonuses depending on performance. Hence there is focus on punctuality by the operators meaning they will look at things like having extra turns so that a late inbound service doesn't lead to the outbound...

It say's in the press release that this funding is conditional - presumably this is until the issues around hydrogen fuel supply for the existing FCEVs in Crawley are sorted out.

I don't agree. My view is that it isn't unreasonable for the government to add conditions to the grant awards. They are after all funding most of the purchase price. We now have perfectly good UK electric bus manufacturers so why not keep as much of the money within the UK economy as...

Seems poor planning from the government that half the money ends up with overseas manufacturers. Surely better policy to support UK jobs (IMHO).

With a Zebra funding, is there any requirement for vehicles to be British built ?
