    LNER Delay Repay Dispute

I'm getting myself confused now. Haywain - If the cost of all the tickets between Stirling to Meadowhall tickets were £58.10 and £58.10 is what has been refunded in total then how have I received too much when the Portlethen to Stirling leg hasn't been refunded? AlterEgo - Likewise, if I...

    LNER Delay Repay Dispute

Apologies as I got the figures the wrong way round. The Stirling to Alnmouth ticket was £17 per person, two of us travelled so the cost was £34 in total. The Alnmouth to Meadowhall ticket was £12.05 per person, two of us travelled so the cost was £24.10 in total. £58.10 in total and this is...

    LNER Delay Repay Dispute

Sorry for the late response, been at work. The £58.10 is the cost of the tickets between Stirling and Meadowhall. Stirling to Alnmouth was £24.10 for the two of us and Alnmouth to Meadowhall was £34.00. The Portlethen to Arbroath leg was £9.80 and Arbroath to Stirling was ~£12.00.

    LNER Delay Repay Dispute

Cheers for the reply. Since they are ignoring the email I sent to [email protected] asking to escalate the issue I'll head over to ceoemail and get an email address for them and see if I can resolve things that way.

    LNER Delay Repay Dispute

I got into Stirling at 0946 and we were on the train to Waverley at 1038. Never even left the station, had a coffee in the snack bar and then went to the platform for the train. That's the part I didn't get in their response.

    LNER Delay Repay Dispute

Hello all. Looking for a bit of advice as it's been a while since I've had a Delay Repay dispute and before I get all "Outraged, Tunbridge Wells" and start email the chairman's office. Back on the 5th July I was travelling from Portlethen to Meadowhall. I was alone on that part of the journey...

Why is this evening's service - Bolton>Manchester so poor?

Looking at Real Time Trains that ran 25 minutes late and got into Rotherham at 0023. That was 2 hours after the concert finished. It just seems like a lack of planning. I was caught up in the delays on Friday at Newcastle and it was the same there, barely any sort of contingency.

Why is this evening's service - Bolton>Manchester so poor?

Is it just Sundays where there are issues with Northern? Was in Rotherham last night to see The Reytons at Clifton Park and was heading back to Meadowhall afterwards. I think 4 out of 5 trains heading towards Sheffield after the concert were all cancelled.

    Fare evasion pos prosecution

So instead of telling the truth you want people on here to tell you to lie? When in a hole it is better to stop digging as opposed to continuing to dig to see just how deep you can get.

    Attitudes to ticketless travel

IIRC the year after Glasgow Queen Street was barriered the number of tickets sold to/ from Bishopbriggs increased by 300k!

What do you think is the best age for a child to start using public transport independently?

I would have been about the same as you. Getting the 107 into the city when we were in first year to go to the cinema or down to Codona's. These days though Union St has turned into a hovel with the amount of drug abusers and drunks walking about all day causing bother. The area by the banks at...

    Football banning orders

It had the name of a proscribed organisation on it. It was unbelievably stupid and there was only ever going to be one outcome to what happened.

    Football banning orders

A lad I know got one for a flag he had at a game. He got a 3 year ban. His conditions were he had to go to his local police station to check in at a time that would make it impossible to travel to see the team he supported. He had to give up his passport when they were away in Europe and also...
