How much time to leave for Eurostar

Where would be the best place to purchase one from? Does this forum's site sell them, or would it be the Eurostar website?

How much time to leave for Eurostar

Is Paddington to St Pancras 21 minutes to allow again, or is it a bit less?

How much time to leave for Eurostar

Would a CIV ticket be a lot more expensive?

How much time to leave for Eurostar

I'm using separate tickets for the Exeter to Waterloo leg and the St Pancras to Brussels leg, and I was planning on using contactless for the tube part in the middle. Does that make a difference?

How much time to leave for Eurostar

On Wednesday 4th September, I am travelling to Brussels. The plan is to travel from Exeter to London Waterloo, then catch a tube service to St Pancras International for the Eurostar. How much time do I need to allow between arriving in Waterloo and catching my Eurostar? I know if I was changing...

GWR rejected my delay repay claim

Yes it was two separate claims that I made, I didn't attempt to combine into a return.

GWR rejected my delay repay claim

On the 18th of February I travelled from Exeter to Heathrow. Later in the day I travelled back again. Both journeys I made using advance singles with the same booking reference. I used paper tickets for the journey. The outward journey was delayed by half an hour and the return part was...

Many of the GWR services from Exeter to Paddington are still being cancelled though.

    ORR Origin-Destination Matrix 2021-22

Another thing notable about this data is that it includes journeys where the origin and destination are the same. I am not sure how this is possible. For example, there are 35,109 recorded journeys from Reading to Reading, despite there being no fare for this on brfares.

Trains cancelled due to weather conditions

Today I had a ticket booked from Pinhoe to Didcot Parkway (anytime single) and another ticket for a later journey from Didcot Parkway to Bristol Temple Meads (super off-peak single). I had planned to travel out from Pinhoe on the 10:35 (changing at either Westbury or Basingstoke), however this...

    Looking for more flexibility

My journey has now been further complicated by the fact that the train that I was going to catch, as well as several after it, have been cancelled due to flooding. I'm trying to decide whether to travel on the 14:34 (the first one that's running) and claim delay repay (which I presume would be...

    Looking for more flexibility

Should I explain this to the guard on the Pinhoe train if he asks me where I'm changing?

    Looking for more flexibility

OK, so that's similar to my original option, just that I am going to Chippenham instead of Swindon after the long wait at Westbury. I'll probably go with the Basingstoke option, that looks the most sensible. Thanks for your help.

    Looking for more flexibility

When I tried searching using this forum's site, it suggested the possibility of changing at Exeter then Bristol, but maybe it only allows that because it split the tickets for me.
