Model Railway exhibitions (that you might also be attending).

Oops! Even so, maybe there'll be one this year.

Ooh! Day after my birthday. I'll definitely try and come along.

Pete Waterman aiming for World record size portable layout

And of Portability lol. Still it really is a fantastic layout and there will be a different version of it at GETS. It's also bordering on the Modular too, with sections that can be swapped in and out.

Labour promises rail nationalisation within five years of coming to power

I prefer the idea of De-privatising rather than re-nationalising.

Where else in the UK could tramways/light rail be installed?

And to the Marina. Maybe towards Shoreham using the coast road and up towards Steyning* too. * I know the A283 can be nightmarish at times, Coventry is getting trams, marketed as 'Very Light Rail' To me, Light Rail is Colonel Stephens. What's referred to as Light rail nowadays is just...

    Unusual sign at Littlehampton

Let's face it the way things are going that'll be the most up to date sign on the network. Hopefully

    Dangerous boarding procedures at Euston

I often went through Victoria, which us another  very busy station. Often youd get through the gatelines after a long hike past that cheese shop that smells of feet (Platforms 15-19 for Brighton) and often find the nextvtrain packed to the gunwhales. I usually let that go and grab a coffee and...

    What's your latest acquisition?

Yes I got so absorbed in making sure all the running numbers were different I forgot to look at the branding. I'm very much 70s. To me that was the most interesting part of the 'blue' era, I grew up through thd 80s and missed out on much of the cool stuff.

    What's your latest acquisition?

3 Accurascale mk2b coaches. They really are works of art. I accidentally ordered a B/G NSE branded one instead of interesting city but I have two options. I can either A) obtain some blanking patches and alter them using transfers or B) build a small 1980s layout

Farewell B.R 'circus horn' and Emma Hignett

Don't forget Bernie at Waterloo. She was a very well spoken lady indeed

What if the London & Birmingham and Midland Counties merged?

I've got 1hr 29 on national rail enquiries with a 56 minute wait at Nuneaton. Obviously via Coventry might change things too. That's on a Monday. I'll run a few on there and see what comes out. Half hourly would be better from Rugby to Nun but with one of those you'd still be relying on the...

Sites for Labour's New Towns that already have rail connections

Well certainly the M1, although I do maintain the A428 between the station site znd the M1 is horrible. The M45 can probably be scrubbed as that's a south facing junction to the south, unless someone wants to brave Coventry and wants to get away quickly ,(I always do lol)

Sites for Labour's New Towns that already have rail connections

Yeah. Means they'll only screw it up if its them. I don't have a very high opinion of them tbh.
