Not for this thread really but if they do this they'd be best doing a SWT style approach, different colours that mean something but common scheme to bind it
I do agree it can be confusing however the advantage thing goes with the territory. Regulars know which door to get off at to be first out of the station whilst infrequent travellers lose out. Regulars get season ticket discounts whilst infrequent travellers pay full fare. Heck regular drivers...

And going back to my earlier post, when going to Kings Cross the front first class regardless of it being a 700 or 387 is always first class
I'm struggling to think of any train from Stevenage to either St Pancras or Kings Cross that has the front first class declassified
It is simple, if you sit in an area marked First Class know the rules. If you don't know the rules then don't sit there.
