I was on the southbound highlander in a Club Room on Thursday and she did the "see it, say it, sorted" announcement after the train manager's announcement.
Doesn’t seem to be enough for Highland to get the drivers it needs.
Funnily enough, there were no such cancellations on Good Friday and I imagine there won’t be any on Easter Monday… Sorry to be cynical.
Just to be clear, this isn’t a slight on the drivers.
Is there any further news on these new routes (some of which start tomorrow)?
The most recent information I can find is the press release posted by GusB at post #21.
According to the LNER website various trains which extend to / original from North of Edinburgh are altered "... due to a short-notice change to the timetable."
What does this mean? Why has the timetable suddenly been changed?
*Edit*
Looking further, it seems to affect more LNER services...
Can't stand hearing Grant Shapps talking about workers salaries. MPs should make sure their own house is in order with regards to salaries before they moan about anyone else's.
And there is a proposed timetable change for July.

Some of the changes include my last bus going from 2145 to 2015.
At one point I used to be able to get a bus home at 2330.
