I must say I like Edinburgh as I find it very easy to get around but if you've not been there before the station plan on National Rail Enquiries is helpful
I suggested to XC on Twitter that they could maybe serve hot drinks between Aberdeen and Edinburgh as a compromise of those who miss out on the meal due to going to one of the Edinburgh stations, they replied "Fair suggestion. We'll pass your comments on."
Thanks, according to Stena it's £2 for an adult or free with a rail and sail so I've got all the info I need now. Thanks once again for your help everybody.
Hi, I was wondering if anyone had a photo of where you get the Stena Line shuttle bus from Hamilton Square, I'm asking as I've tried to tried to figure out from street view but this time it's been of no help so hoping someone here could help. Thanks in advance
I use the term "railway station" particularly when Googling a station for information about it but I'm also quite happy with the term "train station" though I'll use the former more myself and when telling someone I'm going there.
Quite right, I've found that by looking on Realtime the 0940 GLC-EUS regularly departs 1 minute early, the 2 minute cut off is ample time in my opinion
I play it and you don't need to be looking at your screen all the time as your phone vibrates when one spawns and as long as your in a safe location I.e. a pavement you don't need to be anywhere near the platform or the tracks.
It's like the 0656 from Hyndland to Central, RTT regulary claims it arrives into platform 14 on time which is a high level platform when it really arrives I think it's platform 16 which is one of the low level platforms, it's just getting confused like some of these systems can do.
