Should you inform your employer of being arrested?

You were released without further investigation. Maybe you were 100% confident that was going to be the outcome. And I'd be inclined not to disclose arrests that had led to no further action too. In the general case, it won't be the outcome for everyone. And by the time a conviction has taken...

Should you inform your employer of being arrested?

As part of my employment contract I had to acknowledge that my employer had a vetting process and would vet criminal records etc. Agree with Haywain's post earlier that 43066s advice to withhold this information is most likely to make matters worse.

    Swanage Railway to go cashless

Card only means volunteers can finish earlier at the end of the day because they don't have to cash up , which is why the bar at my social club is card only (it could take up to an hour extra at a time you just want to get home).

Hypothetical diversionary routes if lines through Kent House are blocked

I recall doing one of the Dover - Manchester/Liverpool trains that ran in the late 80s/early 90s diverted via Birkbeck.

Changes to SE metro services next June

The Victoria services will be at XX20 and XX 50, so (1) in terms of bridging the gap that's job done and (2) the slow CHX couldn't run as now .

Does London Blackfriars have step free access?

https://www.nationalrail.co.uk/stations/london-blackfriars/ "This station has step-free access to all platforms / the platform." although "The lifts are out of order between south end of platform 1 and mezzanine level at London Blackfriars station"

Grubbiest or most dilapidated station on the network in 2023

On a positive note , and I can't say I'm familiar with all of these candidates but of the ones I do know there is nothing to match the state that in the past eg Manchester Victoria pre rebuild, Wakefield Kirkgate or going a bit further back Broad Street got into.

    Southeastern problems post timetable change

Currently a 5 minute delay on the 0547 HGS seems sufficient to put 20 extra minutes on the following Tunbridge Wells starter, so I get that change.

    Southeastern problems post timetable change

Anecdotally from a friend who uses the service regularly, they still go via Lewisham most of the time, even though they don't stp there "And our simpler timetable is designed so that as more customers travel with us in future, it’s possible to add more trains, and takes other factors, such as...

    Southeastern problems post timetable change

Agree that the timetable is as much of the problem as reliability issues. Until December I had a train +/- 15 minutes either side of my planned train , if there was a problem with the intended train as often as not I would find out in time to get the earlier train. It's now +/- 30 so there's no...

    Southeastern Maidstone - Blackfriars 2022.

I’m pretty familiar with the location of the London termini thank you. In the early 1980s the fast Waterloo E to Ashford stopping pattern trains were timed 61-63 minutes from Charing Cross. Let’s take that as the fastest you can possibly make it (many SE services are slower now) . HS1 is 37-38...

    Southeastern Maidstone - Blackfriars 2022.

Well, HS1 trains are the obvious answer for such passengers needing a faster service.
