The 0656 LNER Skipton - Leeds - Kings Cross (Saturday only) generally operates via Garfofth and Hambleton South Curve, as do diverted pasenger services when engineering works take place.
Until a few weeks ago, 170s were a common sight west of Selby towards LEEDS but the services appear to have reverted to 15n series. Have the 170s been withdrawn or just reallocated?

Definitely cancel HS2. I'm a big fan of rail - but HS2 is completely misguided. As usual it focuses on get to London a few minutes faster - but why? We need to get back to basics and get the railways running properly again in a safe, timely, co-ordinated manner. In the meantime get the NHS...

I drove over Dodworth level crossing last weekend and was convinced that I'd been there many years ago (mid 70s?) and that there were bells over the roadway to warn of the overhead wires height restrictions
